Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We are requesting your RSVPs by March 31st, so we may have an accurate count of guests for our vendors. RSVPs are online on this website!

Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

Beach Formal. This suggests an elegant beach-style wedding—so dress to impress, but also dress for the elements. Ceremony & Cocktail Hour will be outdoors. Reception will be indoors. Still lost? Consider these options: A summer suit or sport coat with a linen shirt (ties are optional), slacks, linen pants or khakis with dress shoes or nice pair of shoes. A formal summer sundress, or jumpsuit at knee length or maxi length, paired with flat or heeled sandals, or nice wedges. Question

What does 'Unplugged Ceremony' mean?

Answer

We ask that our guests be fully present as we share this special moment with you all and exchange vows. During the ceremony, we are requesting you refrain from using cell phones, ipads, video cameras, recording devices and any flash photography. We would like to see your faces, not your devices! We will have professionals present to capture the ceremony experience and look forward to sharing these with you all after the wedding! (Please don't be that person that ruins our wedding photos :)

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

No. All persons invited to the wedding ceremony and reception are noted on the invitation you received. All names correspond with the exact number of guests we are allowing at the venue for both our ceremony and reception. We ask that you please respect the amount of seats we have reserved for you in your honor.

Question

Can I bring my kids to the wedding?

Answer

No. While we love all the children in our family, this will be an 'adults only' affair. All persons invited to the wedding ceremony and reception are noted on the invitation you received. Please see this as a date night out and make arrangements for care. Thank you for respecting our wishes and we hope you enjoy the adult festivities! As fair warning, there will be some children in attendance, our nieces and nephews. Please consider them our VIP’s. <3

Question

Any local babysitter recommendations for my children?

Answer

Yes! The Williams Family highly recommends "Miss Tina" Wood for nights out! She is a trusted family friend and is comfortable with caring for children of all ages as a childcare professional. She may be contacted for details on rate, hours, location, etc. at Tinalewood@yahoo.com. While she does plan on being available the night of Sunday, May 16th, we do ask that you please book her in advance if wanting your children to be under her care for the wedding day/night. We will then be able to determine if she should contact her network of caregivers/teachers who are available. Thank You Miss Tina! :)

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony & reception?

Answer

Yes, parking is free at the Boca Ciega Ballroom. The ceremony and reception will be in the same place. The venue is 5 minutes from the Post Card Inn Hotel.

Question

What's the bar situation?

Answer

Open-Bar; beer, limited wine, and liquor. We ask that our guests please be prepared to tip the bartenders in cash.
