Although we met a bit later in life, we did it the old fashioned way: set up by two of our very best friends (Thank you forever to Hannah and Tommy Kimball!!). The first time we spoke, Ian offered Jenny a shot of tequila - a clear pathway to her heart- and the rest was pretty much history! The first official date was to a jazz concert in San Francisco in the spring of 2018 and over the course of the summer we swiftly fell for one another. A long distance relationship by San Francisco terms, bouncing between the Outer Sunset and North Beach, the early days were filled with long Uber pools, sunset walks on the beach, and evenings at the Northstar Cafe. Before long we were living together in a 400 sq ft studio, just in time for the world to shut down for a global pandemic. We filled quarantine with cooking, board games (mostly Dominoes!) and lots and lots of laughter. Shortly thereafter we had packed up the car and were camping along the 3,000 mile journey to New England to start the next chapter of our lifetime together. We can't wait to celebrate with you in Northern California in May!
