-Vintage Shell Gas Station:  est. 1930- a must see! 
-Banner Ave Poem- posted on a telephone pole for all to enjoy. This is a couple of blocks up from our home!
-Rainbow Crosswalk- brightly located in our Arts District, our new rainbow installation came just in time for our Pride celebration in June
-Maya Angelou- owned a home here in WS for many years while she was a professor at Wake Forest University... and which is what brought Oprah to our town so often! Her home is located on Bartram Rd... you gotta figure out which one it is!
-Water Pump at Old Salem- wet your whistle at this local historic watering hole.
