What is the dress code?

Answer

We ask that everyone dress in cocktail attire. Ladies are encouraged to wear midi or knee length cocktail dresses or dressy separates, and for gentlemen we suggest suits or dress shirts with dress pants.

Can I bring my children?

We love all of our younger friends, but respectfully request that only adults attend our celebration.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, ample parking is available at the venue. Vehicles may be left at the venue overnight as long as they are picked up by 10am the next morning.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, we plan to hold our ceremony and cocktail hour outdoors. Should the weather not cooperate, these events will be held indoors. Our reception will take place indoors regardless of conditions.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly request that guests do not take photos or videos during the ceremony. Our professional photographers are there to capture every moment so that everyone can unplug and enjoy the moment!

What type of food will there be?

Answer

Light hors d’ouevres will be served during cocktail hour, and we will have a buffet style dinner featuring barbecue and sides from Deep Run Roadhouse.

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes, we will have a bar featuring select mixed drinks, wine, beer, canned cocktails, and seltzers. Please be prepared to show ID if requested by the bartending staff.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Although we do not have a block at a specific hotel, the travel page highlights some highly rated hotels with various price points that are located near our venue. There are also several AirBnB and VRBO listings in the Richmond area that are still available for the weekend.

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

While we do have a traditional registry, we would be so grateful for any contribution to our honeymoon/house fund to help us create new memories as we begin our lives together.
