Jenny's Dad who passed away in June of 2016 due to complications related to Alzheimer's. Cesar was a police detective in Peru. He retired when Jenny was a small child and it was after that retirement that the family moved to the U.S.A. Cesar loved to play soccer and even when Alzheimer's took away his ability to remember what day or year it was, Cesar remembered the rules enough to teach them to his grandkids. He loved to show off how well he could juggle the ball with his feet and continued to show off his tricks well into his late 70s. When Jenny was in high school, he would often walk to a local park and play pickup soccer with teenagers who often had trouble keeping up with this senior-aged player.

Diana Tafur

Sister of the Bride

Diana is a Nurse Practitioner who lives in Shoreview MN. Often considered like a second mother to Jenny due to their age difference, Diana was already in school in the USA when Jenny was born in Peru. Due to the popularity of Jennifer Grey movies in the 80s, Diana told their mom she wanted a sister named "Jennifer". She was so relentless in this request that she even tried to change our middle sister's name(Ana) to Jennifer so when their mother had a third child, there was no other choice. Diana got her wish and Jenny was saved from whatever other variation of "Ana" names the family could think of.

Ana is Jenny's "middle sister". Ana is 4 years older than Jenny and works for Best Buy Corporate. Growing up in Peru, and moving to the U.S.A together, Jenny and Ana were pretty close growing up. Jenny was often Ana's life size Barbie head as she loved to recreate movie hairstyles on Jenny's head. She can do the princess Leia buns on Jenny's hair and it looks pretty awesome. (No she is not doing Jenny's wedding hair though). Ana and Chris live in Shoreview with their three kids: Alexis (19), Jason (17) and Christina(15). The girls sometimes let Ana use them as life size Barbie heads so she can practice more cool braided hairstyles on somebody now that Jenny no longer tolerates that.

Ann is Elliott's Half-Sister. They share the same birth father. Ann and Shawn have four grown kids: Chris, Jessica, Angela and Amanda.
