California Cocktail Attire
Wear whatever feels comfortable and polished for a relaxed evening by the coast. Think easy, California-inspired cocktail style — breathable fabrics, warm-weather colors, and outfits that feel a step up from everyday casual. Please no jeans. For Women: Dresses, sundresses, skirts, jumpsuits, or polished separates — anything light and breezy that feels elevated. Comfortable sandals or wedges are perfect. For Men: Collared shirts paired with chinos or tailored pants. Loafers or other dress-casual shoes are recommended. Suits are not expected. A lightweight blazer is welcome but optional.
4:30 pm - 5:00 pm
Coastal Formal
A dressed-up, elegant look that still feels relaxed enough for a Santa Barbara seaside wedding. Think formal, but not black-tie — polished fabrics, refined silhouettes, and outfits suited for an outdoor ceremony and an evening reception. For Women: Long dresses or midis in comfortable, dressy fabrics. Heels, wedges, or dressy flats are all great — anything that’s easy to walk in and enjoy the night. For Men: Suits or dress slacks with a blazer. Ties are suggested for the ceremony and optional for the reception. Dress shoes or polished loafers work perfectly. A refined, celebratory look is all we’re aiming for — nothing too formal, nothing too casual.
