Mary Oaken Lodge -or- 2 Free Options for the more Adventurous.

We plan on being out at the island from Wednesday until Sunday. Stay as long or as little as you'd like. The lodge is at the ceremony site, and is just like a typical hotel. Call and speak to Ruth in order to get the Teel-Kinser Wedding Guest Discount. (270) 433-7431. However if you are a little more adventurous and willing to "rough it" to save some cash, there are 2 other options that happen to be free at the reception site. You have the choice of sleeping in a twin bunk in a room with 20 other bunks (kids' camp style), or you are welcomed to bring your camping gear, tents, or hammocks and set up almost anywhere on the large island. Sorry, there's no way to transport a camper or RV. There is a separate girl's and boy's communal shower house/ bathroom facility on the island, but I can't promise hot water.
