Question

What is the attire for the wedding?

Answer

Semi-Formal, Elegant, and Comfortable Daytime Wedding Attire

Question

What will the day look like?

Answer

Imagine spending a day with us but we so happen to be throwing in a wedding ceremony. Essentially we wanted this day to be filled with love but with a relaxing feel. The day will start with a ceremony at Dirty Habit. Then we will continue on to Ambar for brunch. Finally the day will end with a reception/kickback at the Firehouse 4 DC. The first half of our day will be shared with a small group of family and few friends. The final event is slightly more open to additional close friends that we want to celebrate our day with.

Question

Will the events be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors. If inclement weather happens, there will be a tent. The Brunch will be indoor with a retractable roof. The reception is indoors.

Question

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Yes, transportation will be provided. Please see the Transportation page for the latest info. We are finalizing the transportation for our guest. SO keep check back to see the final set plan.

Question

Will lodging info be provided?

Answer

We have not blocked off a set of rooms for guests being that the majority of our guest are local. For the 5% of the guests that are coming out of town, we simply suggest finding a hotel in DC as opposed to the surrounding areas (Maryland and Virginia). All the events of the day take place in DC so it may be easier to stay in DC. If you need suggestions, please reach out to us.

Question

What is the plan for guests to keep safe during the COVID Pandemic?

Answer

We have purchased some N95 masks for the guests. If you would like you, please take one as you enter one of the events. We encourage guests to use the mask as you feel. The ceremony takes place outside, the brunch while inside has a roof that is retractable and the reception is in an enclosed space. We will have plenty of hand sanitizer and encourage you to use CDC mandated protocols while attending the wedding.

Question

Can I take pictures or videos during the wedding?

Answer

Absolutely!!!! We would love for you to use the hashtag #HisQueen2Be, #CrownedQueen, and #Welcome2TheQueendom. By using the hashtags, we can gather all of the pictures taken and use them to make a photobook captured by you the guest.

Question

Is there a registry or a way to send a gift if I don’t want to bring it to the wedding?

Answer

Yes indeed. Please see the registry tab. We have chosen some gifts we would really like. If you order off of our registry, the gift will be shipped directly to us. Our registry allows you to purchase specific gifts or donate to our Newlywed Fund.

Question

When are RSVPs due?

Answer

No later than Saturday October 9th.

Question

What if I can't make it?

Answer

Be sure to respond to your RSVP. We are also working on providing a Zoom Link to the families who live out of state and have already indicated they cannot make it. Therefore if you are unable to make it, we would be more than happy to provide the link to the ceremony to you as well.

Question

What if I have additional questions?

Answer

You may reach out to the bride or groom. We will also be providing our Wedding Planner information in the coming weeks.
