You ask anyone, Statistics is probably top 10 least favorite courses in college. Yet it was a requirement for both of our majors so we ended up in the same class. Dr. Phandi, while a nice guy...was a bit hard to understand and the work certainly wasn't any easier to understand. William said we should exchange information incase we run into roadblocks or need help (OH the trickery- LOL!). So it started with the exchange of Facebook handles and phone numbers. Little did we know, this was the start of something great that would manifest years later. #Blessed
The Big Easy is known for its amazing cuisine but also for the joyful music that comes from its musicians born to the city . These were the precise reason we wanted to take a trip to NOLA. We planned a fun trip with other coupled friends in which the night life, food and music (specifically Lil Weezyana Fest) was the focus (well at least that's what one of us thought). In typical Will and Jenn fashion, we decided to hit up a well known brunch spot (Muriel's Jackson Square) for an elevated brunch experience. With our four other friends, we were preparing to pray as the food was just delivered. Unbeknownst to Jenn, Will had family, friends and past mentors hidden in the back the entire time. During the prayer they surrounded the table, ready for the big moment. Upon opening our eyes, the table was surrounded by our loved ones watching Will get on one knee to pop the BIG question. To say there wasn't a dry eye in the house is an understatement. #HisQueen2B
