It's not required but we would highly recommend it if you want to make the most of your trip and see as much of the area as possible. Our venue is 40 minutes from the airport and about 45 minutes from Portland. Portland is 20 minutes from the airport and about 45 minutes to Willamette Valley. If you are staying for the weekend, the beautiful Oregon coast is about an hour and a half from Portland and two hours from our venue. So much to see in such close proximity and a car will definitely help you do that! That being said, if you are just coming for the wedding, there are Ubers and Lyfts available and lots of people that will have cars so you can make it work!
See previous answer! Our venue is about 40 minutes from the airport but close to many beautiful sites in the area. So much to see!
We absolutely love the Willamette Valley area, not only because of it's beauty but also because it is home to our favorite wines on the planet. Because of that, we wanted to plan a day that would be easy for our guests and require no planning on your part. We have the transportation and food covered for the day but each guest will be responsible for their own tastings at each winery. Each tasting will be about $25 and include 4-5 wines per winery. We have chosen wineries that will give you a great example of what the area has to offer. You also don't need to feel obligated to drink wine! If you just want to come along for a great time, please do!
Whatever you want! There are few things we love more than a road trip and this is your opportunity to see as much as you can of the beautiful area. If you're up for a 2 hour drive, head to the gorgeous Oregon coast and we'll meet you there! Start at Cannon Beach or Astoria and drive south to Yachats to see one of the most beautiful coasts in the world. Whatever you do, get outdoors, eat lots of great food and enjoy yourself!
Bring a mask. Washington is in phase 3 which requires masks indoors. Oregon is also in phase 3 and certain businesses require masks indoors. This is ever changing with the Delta variant. We will continue to update this FAQ as we learn more.
