Question

What are the COVID requirements and how are you keeping people safe?

Answer

We are living in an unprecedented time, and have decided to move forward with the wedding as planned, however we want to do everything we can to ensure everyone attending our wedding, especially our loved ones who are at higher risk, are kept safe. We love each and every one of you, and understand there is a large variety of opinions on the matter, however we feel we need to do everything we can do protect our guests. We ask that EVERYONE regardless of your vaccination status, if you have already had it, or the mask mandate at the time, please take a rapid test or a PCR test within 24 hours of the event. The venue is largely outside, with large barn doors that open so as long as the weather permits we will have lots of air circulation while inside. We will also be complying with the state and federal mandates, so whatever those are at the time of the event we will post updates to the website prior to the event regarding masks.

Question

Where can I get a COVID-19 test? Will you provide them? Are you checking tests?

Answer

We will purchase and provide tests for our out of town guests if needed, but please let us know 1 month in advance so we have time to procure enough tests. PCR tests can easily be scheduled locally in advance and we are happy to help schedule that, just let us know. if you have been traveling or around large groups of people a PCR test is recommended, but a rapid test is acceptable. We will not be checking tests, this is the honor system and we would greatly appreciate everyone following our safety guidelines so we can have a wonderful time dancing and being comfortable unmasked if people want to be.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are asking for honeymoon donations and home renovation donations in lieu of gifts! Your attendance is gift enough, but if you feel like you would like to do something else, please feel free to donate towards a dinner, excursion, or accommodations for us to enjoy being newlyweds! Or towards our house projects! Link is on the Registry page of the website.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please see schedule of events page!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Plus ones have been included on your invite, we are asking for serious significant others only, if one was not included please let us know and we will accommodate as best we can!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We are asking that children not attend unless discussed with us on a case by case basis. We love kids, and we love all of your kids, however we are limited in capacity at the venue, so please let us know if you would like to discuss further!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is plenty of parking directly at the venue!

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There will be transportation provided to and from Angel of the Winds Casino, we need a headcount to ensure we have enough trips accounted for. There will likely be a few ubers available after the event, but for those staying at other hotels please be prepared to drive safely home after the event, AKA Drink responsible please! We love you all!

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Rehearsal meet and greet is saturday , see schedule of events page. We will also be staying at the Hotel the night before the wedding also, so would love to meet up with anyone staying there also for an informal welcome party after the Rehearsal Dinner. Details to come! The afterparty will be at Angel of the Winds Casino!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please let us know in advance and we will do our best to accommodate with the food truck to make something suitable to your restrictions!
