We’re getting married! Boom.

A tale as old as time, we met on the one and only Bumble! We matched in May of 2018, and finally met a few weeks later. Prior to meeting, I showed a picture of Tom to my best friend Melissa and she immediately knew who he was. Turns out she had known him for years, and they were all linked through our officiant, Acacia. I was able to get all the dirt on Tom prior to meeting, and everyone who knew him had only really great things to say. In fact I was told that he was "just my type". Everyone was correct. We had a blast on our first date, Tom likes to say that he led with "I'm a carpenter, like Jesus" and that was what won me over. But really it was his honest demeanor, his loyalty and his ability to put in effort that got me right off the batt. We meshed well talking about construction and architecture, and went out on the town on the first night to do the 1st street shuffle. We went on a bunch of dates after that, including a few country concerts where Tom fell asleep, and dates where I dragged Tom along to meet all my friends. On the 4th of July Tom had a big block party, and introduced me to his family. After a few first trips together to Alaska and Michigan, and many more concerts, events, nights out on the town, and many many commutes to and from our separate houses, we finally moved in together. On Christmas morning of 2020, Tom proposed, and In June of 2021, we welcomed our first child Baker. We are so so so excited for our life together and cant wait to celebrate our love and our future with all of our friends and family.
