Question

Cell Service...

Answer

There is NO cell service at Burgdorf. If you need to make a phone call you can drive 20ish minutes toward McCall to the "summit" to make and receive phone calls.

Question

Getting to Burgdorf Hot Springs

Answer

Unfortunately, the city of McCall has decided to do construction on Wagon Wheel Road (the main route around the lake to get to Burgdorf). This means that Wagon Wheel Road will be open during specific windows of time during the week, but should be open the day of the wedding. If it isn't open, there is a detour on the other side of the lake that meets up with the highway that heads north to Burgdorf. Google Maps should recognize this, but there should also be detour signs as well. We suggest planning to arrive early.

Question

We have many friends/family who are coming up solo that are interested in sharing one of the larger cabins or airbnbs/etc. If you're in a similar boat, send a message to jensimonburgdorf@gmail.com. We have a closed group forum for people to make plans, split an airbnb, ride-share, etc.

Question

How do I shower without running water at Burgdorf?

Answer

Option 1: For those willing to embrace their rustic side Burgdorf has maintained a claw foot bathtub at the outlet of the hot spring pool for approximately 20 years. As long as you use biodegradable shampoo/conditioner/soap...you're good to go. We will mention here that it's not private, so keep your privates covered. Option 2: Make friends with someone staying in McCall...enough said Option 3: It's a rustic setting, so maybe a nice soak and some dry shampoo.
