I first met Phil in high school through Shane Thomas. We would spend our free time hanging out and getting into various adventures over the years. Later we both decided to go to ODU, which is where I introduced Phil to Jenn for the first time. I then proceeded to drive them nuts for the rest of my time at ODU. Even though we parted ways after college, the bond we shared stayed.

I first met Jenn when Philip brought her home! At first I didn't know what to expect because who would willingly date my brother? Just kidding! But little did I know this wonderful person would be my sister in law. I cannot wait for this special day for the both of them.

I first met Phil in college while attending ODU. We had a few classes together, but really only knew of each other's existence. One day, I saw Phil at the gym, and went over to chat. We had a brief conversation and then shook hands before parting ways. However, the handshake was one of those awkward, miscalculated, misaligned handshakes. As I was walking away, I knew I could either leave on that note (and live with that interaction for the rest of my life), or make things "right". After a brief inner debate, I turned around, walked back, and told him I didn't want to leave on a lame handshake like that. The second handshake attempt was spot-on and firm. The friendship blossomed from there.

I met Jenn while going to school at Old Dominion University. We were in the same class together and had to research the same person. We decided to work together on and the rest is history. We actually went through our first year of teaching together as well. We have been on many sushi outings and still reminisce about teaching in Norfolk.

Philip and Mike met on a warm summers eve. Their eyes met across the street and they knew it was meant to be. Also Mike is the grooms future brother in law.

I know Jenn from my mom, Sheila. Some memories that come to mind when I think of Jenn is when she fell on her butt after drinking one too many of my margaritas (they're very strong) while walking Simon during the pandemic after stepping off a curb. I also like to think of the time she graciously accepted grape jelly I gave her as a gift from Florida as a joke.
