What should I do if I can’t make it?

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, RSVP accordingly.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Tentatively the weather forecast for New Kent on the day of the wedding is high of 65 and a low of 44 with a chance of rain so plan accordingly. Of note the wedding will be held outside, but will be covered.

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place? Will they be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both will be held at the Historic Jasmine Plantation. The ceremony and reception will be outdoors behind the Bed and Breakfast. Consider bringing a coat as temperatures may drop as the evening goes on and at the time of writing, there is a chance of rain. The ceremony will go on, rain or shine. The reception will be held in a heated tent.

Will there be vegetarian/vegan options?

Answer

Yes. During the cocktail hour, crackers, grilled vegetable sandwiches, and vegan pasta salad will be served. For dinner, we are offering a vegan Penne ala Vodka, roasted red potatoes, and a grilled vegetable blend followed by vegan mini-pies.

Yes, there will be beer and wine.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels as long as you share them!
