There are no direct flights to Suriname from the United States. One can travel with JetBlue, Southwest Airlines or any other airline from the state where they are to Aruba and continue their trip from Aruba with Surinam Airways (SLM) to Paramaribo, Suriname. Another option would be to travel with any airline from the state where you are to Miami International Airport and continue your trip from Miami International Airport with Surinam Airways (SLM) to Paramaribo, Suriname (there will be a stop in Aruba) The acronym for the airport of Suriname is PBM (Johan Adolf Pengel Luchthaven - JAP). https://www.kayak.com/ is a great search engine for locating flights. Surinam Airways (SLM)

Connecting flights are with Surinam Airways (SLM) from either Miami International Airport (MIA) or Aruba depending on which departure destination you choose and continue your trip to Paramaribo, Suriname. If you choose to travel from your state directly to Aruba, you have the opportunity to tour the island before your connecting flight leaves for Paramaribo as there will be a layover of several hours. The acronym for the airport of Aruba is AUA (Queen Beatrix International Airport).
