We’re getting married!

We started corresponding after we connected as a match on Match.com. After almost two weeks of messaging/texting back and forth, we decided to meet in person. On November 7th, 2018, we met at Mario’s, a little Italian restaurant in Niskayuna, NY. Before we knew it, 3 hours had flown by! After a couple more dates, we agreed we wanted to see where things went. Time passed quickly. With six kids between us, our busy lives & separate households in different school districts, there wasn’t much talk of getting engaged or married. Fast forward 4 years to June 1st, 2022. While having a conversation on the couch, Joe, in his typical understated way, pulled a black box out from between the couch cushions, shocking and completely surprising Jen with a ring. Joe got down on one knee and popped the question! During the summer of 2023, we combined households and this year, we decided we better get going on our wedding planning! So here we are!
