Please send in your RSVP by June 1, 2026
Our dress code is black tie optional. August in Washington, D.C. is hot and humid, so we encourage light, breathable fabrics while maintaining a refined, formal look. For women, floor-length gowns or elegant formal dresses are preferred. For men, tuxedos or suits with ties are appropriate. Guests are invited to embrace soft hues or bold summer tones, though we kindly ask that white and olive green be avoided. While the weather may be sweltering, both the ceremony and reception will be held indoors.
There are parking garages at both our church and reception locations. We recommend using ParkWhiz or SpotHero to book a spot in advance near the church, as parking in the area can be limited. At the Mellon Auditorium guests can park in the Ronald Reagan building parking garage located on 14th St. NW behind the Mellon Auditorium.
Please arrive 30 minutes before the ceremony begins
We love your little ones, but in order to keep our celebration intimate, we kindly ask that only the children listed on your invitation join us. In lap infants are welcome even if they are not listed on the invitation. Thank you so much for understanding — we can’t wait to celebrate together!
Your presence is truly the greatest gift to us. We feel so grateful that many of you are traveling from near and far to celebrate our wedding, which is the best gift you all can give us! We kindly ask that you not feel obligated to give us anything more. For those who have expressed interest, we have set up a honeymoon fund. After Jennifer finishes fellowship in 2028, we are planning to travel to Portugal, Greece, Egypt, and Turkey on an extended honeymoon.
Yes! See our travel page for more information.
We kindly request the presence of only those named on the RSVP list with the exception of in lap infants
