How do I get to the reception?!!

Answer

The reception is at Reception on 3/1/24: Whitehall & Patio at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa 10:30am – 3:30pm You can get there a few ways: 1. Take an Uber or Lyft, from your hotel. 2. If you are staying at a Disney Resort, aka on property, you may take a Disney transportation bus to Disney Springs. This is a transportation depot and shopping area. From Disney Springs locate and board the bus that goes to the Grand Floridian Hotel and Spa. Then make your way to the Whitehall & Patio.

Important Information About Getting To The Ceremony

1. There will be a bus that takes everyone to the tree of life. 2. The bus will depart Port Orleans French Quarter and return there, at the end of the night. 3. You must be in the lobby of Port Orleans French Quarter by 9:00PM on 2/29 to make the bus. 4. You must have a photo id with you. Your driver’s license will be fine. This does not apply to children.

What time will the ceremony take place?

Answer

Since we're getting married in a theme park it has to occur 3 hours after the park closes. So probably around 10:30pm or 11:00pm.

I’m not sure if I can make it, can I RSVP after August 31st?

Answer

Yes! Just let Jenn or Jason know your travel and hotel details before January 2024. We will need this to ensure you will be able to get picked up for the events.

What about hotel rooms, will there be some blocked out?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to contracts with Disney that would extend our budget beyond our plans we cannot offer room blocks. However, we were able to get a small discount if you are staying at a Disney resort (on property). Hotel Booking: Please note that your guests will have the option to book directly through your customized website: http://book.passkey.com/go/G0830654 (http://book.passkey.com/go/G0830654), or over the phone with our group reservation agents by calling (407) 827-6799. To book their rooms with a phone agent, your guests can mention either the McGee & Guyan Wedding or G0830654. Note you only can use this for on property hotels. There should be a small discount for this. We are staying at the Port Orleans French Quarter.

What about travel to the park, and to venue?

Answer

Transportation to the venue for the ceremony will be provided by Disney. In order to coordinate this Jenn and Jason will need to collect everyone's hotel information, including confirmation numbers. As we get closer to the event we will update this space with more information. The current plan is to have busses that will be picking folks up and dropping them off.

What about park tickets do we get any discounts?

Guests will have to buy their own tickets. You will be able to purchase tickets by calling (407) 827-6799 or via https://disneyurl.com/Weddings. Before purchasing theme park tickets each guest should consult the Theme Park availability calendar. Theme park reservations are limited and required to enter a park. We encourage Guests to make theme park reservations as early as possible for a seamless visit to our parks. I will let you know when these tickets go on sale. Pre-Arrival Engagement with MyDisneyExperience.com: You may download the My Disney Experience mobile app to access your plans and park information on the go. Please make sure to link your resort reservation and Walt Disney World Theme Park Tickets to your My Disney Experience Account, and create park reservations for the days you would like to visit. Guests will need a valid theme park admission and a park reservation to enter the Walt Disney World Theme Parks. 60 days prior to arrival, you will be able to book dining reservations through the mobile app or website.

Is there theme for the wedding? What about a dress code?

Answer

Yes! The theme is vintage explorer, think 1930's, Jungle Cruise etc. You can come in costume if you like. Formal attire is not required, but we would ask you to keep it appropriate.

I have dietary restrictions, what do I do?

Reach out to Jenn or Jason and let us know what they are. We will need your full name and details in order to pass this along to Disney.

The ceremony is late, maybe to late for my younger kids. I want to attended, but cant leave them alone. What do I do?
