FAQs

Question

Are kids allowed?

Answer

Unfortunately, this is an adults only cruise and they will not be able to join us.

Question

Will there be a ceremony on land?

Answer

No, our ceremony will take place on the ship, on the day we port in Key West, FL. The ceremony however won't be until we are leaving the port, so you can enjoy Key West!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Instead of a traditional registry we have a Newlywed Fund you can access on this site. If you would like to contribute, just click the "registry" tab at the top. This will go towards our new life together. We thank you in advance for your contribution!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Sorta, the cruise rooms are based on double occupancy but we have a max amount of guests who are apart of our "Wedding Circle". If you are planning to bring a guest please contact us because we have a limited guest count.

Question

This is my first cruise, what do I need to know?

Answer

-A passport is recommended but not needed, you will however need your birth certificate if you plan to get off in Bimini, Bahamas. -We recommend bringing Dramamine, Motion sickness patches or Bands, if you have never cruised before (this can help while you get your sea legs). There is a medical bay on the ship if you have more severe symptoms. If you know you experience motion sickness, select a midship room to reduce symptoms. -If you have multiple devices (more than 3) you may want to pack a power strip to plug in all of your devices to charge at once. -On nights without wedding plans you will be booking your dining times via the Virgin app (download before you arrive at port) -Magnets are handy for hanging things in your cabin, bringing a reusable bottle is highly recommended. -Embarkation Day (3/11- when we board) Arrive at your assigned check-in time (don’t come too early). Your luggage will be taken and delivered to your room later. Explore the ship, grab SOME food but don't get full! We have a dinner planned, and you must attend the safety drill, it's mandatory. -How do payments work onboard? Cruise ships are cashless. You’ll use your wrist key (or app) for all purchases.

Question

What's a Bar tab?

Answer

Bar Tab is onboard credit that’s included as apart of the wedding circle ($100 per cabin) to spend on premium beverages and speciality cafe drinks onboard and at The Beach Club at Bimini. Unused Bar Tab credit is not refundable at the end of a voyage, so drink up or feel free to share with a friend - or two!

Question

What are Port Days?

Answer

We will port twice on this cruise, on Day 2 in Key West and again on Day 4 in Bimini, Bahamas. We do not have anything wedding-related planned while in port. So, GO ENJOY THE PORTS!
