Cruising to Forever!

Just when Jenn was ready to retire from dating apps altogether, a message came through from someone saved as “Gorgeous.” At the very same time, Jazz—also known as “Gorgeous”—was having similar thoughts about calling it quits. Thankfully, fate (and a second chance login) had other plans. What began as small talk quickly turned into long, meaningful conversations, then phone calls that stretched late into the night—often ending with both of them falling asleep on the line. After a week of laughing over who would hang up first, they decided it was time to meet in person at a festive Christmas pop-up they had both been wanting to visit. Of course, there were a few nerves—would the chemistry translate in person? But the moment they met, all doubts disappeared. Jenn arrived in a bright red jumpsuit with reindeer antlers, while Jazz kept it classic in a hunter green sweater dress and boots. Instead of flowers, Jazz brought Jenn a thoughtful Christmas gift: a paw print ornament kit for Jenn’s beloved dog, Jett. It was a gesture that spoke volumes and set the tone for everything that followed. That evening felt nothing short of magical. Between holiday cocktails, festive bites, a flaming dessert, and plenty of laughter, their connection only grew stronger. By the end of the night, it was clear this was something special. From that first date on, they’ve been inseparable—building a home together, traveling the world, and becoming each other’s favorite adventure partner. Their shared love of travel led to a growing bucket list, including one particularly meaningful destination: Banff, Canada. On December 13th—exactly two years and two days after their first date—Jazz surprised Jenn with a proposal at the breathtaking Lake Minnewanka. Surrounded by snowy mountains and freezing temperatures, Jenn said yes to forever. Together, they share a love for themed events, all things Christmas, music and dancing, games, long walks with their dogs (forever remembering sweet Jett), museums, new cuisines, and—most importantly—their family and friends.
