Question

Answer

Please respond by April 12th. If you have an issue with this site, please text 704-953-3236.

Question

What time should I arrive? What time should I arrive?

Answer

The wedding begins at 5pm. Please arrive 15-30 minutes prior to the ceremony to park and find a seat. Be sure to park in designated areas, all traffic is restricted to the gravel roads and designated parking areas only. Handicap accessible parking is available. You can walk up to the venue by the paved walk or take a ride in a chauffeured golf cart.

Question

What is the dress? What is the dress?

Answer

We love to see our family and friends dress up with us. Cocktail and semi-formal attire would be great! Please refrain from wearing jeans, white, or any shade of white – let the bride have her day!

Question

Should I avoid wearing spike heels?Should I avoid wearing spike heels?

Answer

The parking lot is gravel but there are paved walks from the parking area up to barn, ceremony site, and reception tent. The only time you'll be required to walk on a non-paved area is the parking area and when you take your seat for the ceremony as the chairs will be set on grass.

Question

What happens if it rains? What happens if it rains?

Answer

This is an outdoor wedding and we expect the weather to be beautiful but if it does rain, we'll move the ceremony into the reception tent. Chairs will be set for immediate family and as a guest, you can view the ceremony from your table or stand wherever you wish.

Question

Can I bring a date?Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited capacity, we can only allow the people named on your invitation. Your invitation will be made out to “(Your Name) & Guest” if a plus one has been given to you. We unfortunately cannot accommodate additional guests.

Question

Will there be an open bar? Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, the drinks are on us, the hangover is on you – get ready to celebrate!

Question

What if I drink too much to drive home? What if I drink too much to drive home?

Answer

We've all been there! There will be a security officer onsite to ensure guests arrive home safe. Please consider allocating a designated driver. If you need to leave your car onsite, please be sure to pickup by 10am Sunday morning. Cars left after 10am will be subject to towing due to another event taking place at the venue that day. If you uber to the venue, be sure to book a round trip to ensure pickup at the end of the night by 10pm. The venue is out in the country and the chances of getting an uber late on a Saturday night are slim.

Question

Is smoking allowed?Is smoking allowed?

Answer

No smoking or vaping is allowed inside the tent or immediate surrounding area. Ashtrays are provided in locations along the perimeter of the barn area. Ashtrays are the only acceptable way of disposing of smoking residue. No illegal substances of any kind are permitted on the property.

Question

Are kids invited?Are kids invited?

Answer

While we would love to see your kiddos, we have decided to keep our ceremony and reception an adult only event (the only exception being the young ones in our bridal party & immediate family). We hope you understand and enjoy a fun date night!

Question
