Maid of Honor
Jenny's older sister. Maria is a really sweet and beautiful person. She is always the first to remember anyone's birthday and special occasion. Maria adopted two of her cat's Simba and Kitty, when Jenny and Maria were living as roommates together in Iowa City. Whether staying in and watching rom-coms or going out on the town, Maria is more than just a sister, she is Jenny's best friend.
Maid of Honor
Jenny's younger sister. Liz is such a sweetheart and a beautiful person. She's also brilliantly smart and lives in Dublin, Ireland where she has a Postdoctoral position at Trinity College. Whether going on adventures to New York City or dressing up for the final movie of Harry Potter, Liz has always been so supportive and kind. She is Jenny's best friend and partner in crime. Well done Holmes.
Bridesmaid
Karren and Jenny have known each other since high school when Jenny walked into the clarinet section of band class. They went to college together in Iowa City and always found ways of getting into trouble (or out of trouble). Even in the craziness of adulthood and Karren raising three kids, they have always found time to catch up and go grab a bite to eat, even if the restaurant is an hour or two away.
Bridesmaid
Bailey and Jenny have known each other for 10 years. They first met at church and automatically clicked. Jenny always goes over to Bailey's house to play with her three adorable boys and talk for hours on end about life and love. Bailey is actually a big reason why Georgewilliam and Jenny meet. One summer day at a pool, Bailey had suggested a dating app to Jenny, and the rest is history. Thank you for being part of our love journey!
Best Man
Vicent is one of Georgewilliam's good friends. He lives in St Louis and is a PhD student at Washington University. Vicent is also a really good cook. He makes very good Ugali. Georgewilliam, Vicent and Scovia all tried to teach Jenny how to cook traditional Ugandan dishes but Jenny still has much to learn.
Groomsman
Jenny's older brother. Joseph's kindness for helping others is showcased through his job as a doctor and his willingness to always be there for others. He is also a great dancer and can most definitely bust a move on the dance floor.
Groomsman
Jenny's brother-in-law. He's always there to cheer you on and he's the ultimate team player. He's also a cat whisperer and really good with dogs too! Jenny's dog, Mocha, is always so happy to see Matt because she knows he will run around and play with her.
Groomsman
Jenny's younger brother. If you ever need someone who knows how to get around Jacksonville, David is your guy. He knows this place better than Google maps. David is a true family man and always willing to help.
Flower Girl
Freya is Karren's daughter. She is the middle child of the family and in kindergarten. She loves to ride horses and play around with her siblings. Freya was excited to be a flower girl because she loves becoming a princess with her dresses and make up. When she's not running around after her siblings she loves to go out and spend mommy's money.
Flower Girl
Everleigh is Karren's daughter. She is in Pre-Kindergarten. She is the youngest but that does not stop her from always speaking her mind. Freya and Everleigh along with being Irish twins (being born close in age to each other) also love to do the same things. Everleigh loves to ride horses and also play dress up with her makeup.
Ring Bearer
Emmytt is Karren's son. He is the oldest child in the family and currently in 4th grade. He loves to hang out with his friends and play video games. Time moves so fast. Jenny has seen all of Karren's kids as infants but she still remembers when she held Emmytt as a baby. He's growing up to be a great young man.
Family of Groom
Scovia is Georgewilliam's cousin who lives in St Louis. Most of Georgewilliam's family lives in Uganda but Scovia is one of the few who lives in the United States. She currently is getting a Master's degree at Washington University in St Louis. Scovia is also an excellent cook and always willing to lend a helping hand. Scovia and Vicent were the first to meet Jenny when she came to St Louis for the first time.
Father of the Bride
Jenny's Dad. He has always been such a great support system for Jenny throughout all of her hills and valleys. He's worked for 35+ years helping communities across the Midwest and FL and has also become a great real estate agent here in Jacksonville, FL. Out of all the advice he has ever given Jenny throughout her life, one piece of advice always stays close to her heart and that is the importance of God in all things. As Jenny gets ready to walk down the aisle with her Dad she is honored that he gets to see her get married to the one she loves in the presence of her family, friends and God.
Mother of the Bride
Jenny's Mom. She really has a big heart and cares incredibly deeply for her family and everyone she meets. Whether it's helping her nursing students as a nursing instructor or praying for those who are sick. She is truly a kind and compassionate person. There's an old saying that says a child will always be a child in their parent's eyes. That must be true, even when you are all grown up and walking down the aisle. Jenny can't fully express how much it means to her to have her mom be there as she gets married and how much her love has meant to her over her entire life.
Mother of the Groom
Georgewilliam's mum is a kind, humble, and lovely soul. Someone you wish to meet in life. She is very welcoming and has done great to honor her marriage vows, serving as a role model. She has ensured her kids learn about God and the Catholic faith. Besides being available for her family, especially her children, in all situations, she operates her grocery store where she extends love, care, and services to her community. She also enjoys meeting up with her mothers' group to discuss their coffee plantations, saving schemes, and other development ideas. Her prayers, and sending special prayer petitions to different prayer congregations, such as the Mother Mary Kibeho, Rwanda, and Fr. Ngobya, Uganda prayer centers, mean a lot to us and contribute to the success we achieve. I bet she will be available online despite the almost 8-hour time difference to witness us getting married.
Father of the Groom
Georgewilliam's dad enjoys his life in the countryside, where he loves taking care of his banana and coffee plantations. He also engages in trade business, combining his passion for agriculture with his entrepreneurial spirit.
