Both Georgewilliam and Jenny were living their separate lives but were looking for a serious relationship. In fact, Georgewilliam and Jenny both prayed to God that God would give them a spouse and dare I say, a soulmate. One day Georgewilliam received a suggestion from one of his friends, Balikuddembe Perez, that he should try going on a Christian dating app called Upward. Around that same time, Jenny also received a suggestion from one of her friends, Bailey Humbard, that she should try that same app and see how things go. They had both initially matched but due to their busy schedules weren't able to fully connect. It took over a month before Jenny and Georgewilliam could finally Facetime each other. From the moment they had Facetimed together sparks flew. There was something undeniable about their connection and their relationship blossomed almost overnight. Georgewilliam was going to Washington University in St Louis, Missouri pursing his Master's Degree in Public Health and Jenny was working full time as an analyst at a hospital in Kansas City, Kansas. Two completely different cities but distance did not stop their love. They found ways of reducing the distance and seeing each other. Georgewilliam and Jenny grew up in two different worlds, Georgewilliam from Uganda and Jenny from the United States. Although two people might look at them and think they are very different, there is also something so similar. The beautiful thing about God is that his plans for you don't have boundaries and barriers. As with Georgewilliam and Jenny's love, it also has no boundaries or barriers. As they prepare for their wedding, they are both profoundly grateful for God's grace and mercy and the gift of finding one another.
