Wedding Party

Meet our family and friends who got us to where we are today.

Amanda Johnson

Maid of Honor

Amanda is the bride's sister. Amanda was able to survive childhood with both Jenny and her brother so she can make it through just about anything - including getting Jenny through her big day! Amanda is the bride's fashion consultant, muffin and champagne companion, and personal sommelier. Jenny is so grateful to have Amanda as her sister and knows the she will help keep the bride relaxed and down to earth. Jenny can't wait to have Amanda by her side at her wedding.

Stuart Magruder

Best Man

Farrell and Stuart met on the T-Ball diamond and became especially close riding the bus together in middle school. From Little League to ninja movie nights, they were the coolest nerds in Seattle (Simon too!). After college, they moved to LA to follow their dream of working in the film biz and lived together for nearly a decade (seriously!). They've shared too many incredible experiences to list, but one thing is guaranteed: there will be many more. Stu couldn’t be more excited for Farrell and Jenny’s next great adventure and is excited to support them every step of the way!

Colleen Kiper

Matron of Honor

Colleen is the bride's best friend and pseudo sister. They met their first year of college when they both joined the Alpha Phi sorority and have been attached at the hip ever since! From study sessions, to philosophical life discussions to dancing so much they actually injured each other, there is never a dull moment together. Colleen's happy, fun energy and endless support will have Jenny ready to walk down the aisle and Jenny cannot imagine her special day without Colleen by her side!

Paul Mulvaney

Groomsman

Paul is the groom's cousin. Born exactly a year apart, Paul and Farrell grew up in Seattle and did nearly everything together: Family camping adventures, the annual summer ski trip to Mt. Hood (20 years running!), and plenty of mediocre golfing (Paul still has his lucky 6 iron). Fourteen years after Farrell stood with Paul as a groomsman at his own wedding, Paul is proud to stand by Farrell at his.

Tammy Tam

Bridesmaid

Tamara (not her real name) is one of the bride's best friends. They met in college and lived together their senior year which was filled with lots of laughs, fast food runs, and dancing (including teaching her dog to be a ballerina)! Although Tammy and Jenny may get confused for one another a lot - Tammy is definitely the cooler twin. Jenny's big day would not be the same without Tammy there to keep her relaxed and giggling.

Simon Bond

Groomsman

Simon is the groom’s oldest friend. They met in the 6th grade and quickly bonded over Monty Python, video games, and goldfish (the cheesy snack). During their countless late nights growing up they pushed each other to dive deeper into their passions. As such, Simon has no problem taking credit (at least partial) for Farrell’s enduring passion for movies. Simon is very excited to see this next scene in Farrell’s life unfold.

Bonnie Wheeler

Bridesmaid

Bonnie and the bride met the first week of law school and knew pretty quickly they were meant to be fast friends. From ridiculous pranks to endless study sessions, wine nights and yogi practices, Bonnie and Jenny have done just about everything together. They couldn't get enough of each other that they just had to become co-workers too! Jenny would not have made it through law school or the bar exam without Bonnie's support and infectiously positive attitude and cannot wait to have Bonnie there to help her through yet another big life event - her wedding day!

David Mock

Groomsman

Farrell and David met via a man-date introduction by Peter Vanek (you'll read about him later!) when Farrell moved to LA. They truly bonded when David--fresh out of a long term term relationship--was rehabilitated as he slept on an air mattress on Farrell's floor every weekend for a few months. Their friendship has remained strong through Farrell's despotic reign as Fantasy Football Commissioner and his highly suspect multiple championships. Together, they have summitted mountains in Alaska (true story!) and are approaching culinary perfection on a slow cooker chili recipe.

Vicki Huang

Bridesmaid

Vicki and the bride met through the Matron of Honor, Colleen, because Vicki worked in accounting with Colleen at Deloitte. Vicki quickly became a part of Jenny's friend group and it was meant to be because Vicki is Jenny's right-hand woman. They are so similar from their type-A personalities, affinity for planning, traveling, food...lots of good food. Jenny had to have Vicki there on her big day to keep her organized , put together, and ready to get married!

Winston Owens

Groomsman

Farrell and Winston met when their mutual friend Peter Vanek visited LA and corralled a group of guys to hang at the Commonwealth house. They hit it off over high-minded concepts like southern cuisine, cinema and Gucci Mane. Eleven years later, their friendship remains stronger than ever. From bucket-list concerts, to deep-sea fishing trips, to timeless memories at the Hacienda, to the Vancouver excursion and White Men Can’t Jump Halloween, Farrell and Winston will be dude brahs for life.

Allie Walsh

Bridesmaid

Allie and the bride met in college and have been able to keep up (and even strengthen) their friendship through monthly dinner dates which include lots and lots of Indian spiced artichoke dip (their favorite food). Allie and the bride can be complete goofballs and serious therapists for one another all at the same time and they wouldn't have it any other way. Allie is one of Jenny's best confidantes and her wedding day will be so full of love and care with Allie by her side!

Ranjit Raju

Groomsman

Ranjit met Farrell at Emory and bonded over a mutual love of Tarantino and obscure Samurai movies (if you hang around the New Beverly long enough, they’ll be the guys still watching the end credits of Sydney Pollack’s The Yakuza). They moved to LA in 2008 and since have enjoyed many drinks, movies, and game nights. If a sign of a good friendship is having enough stories to embarrass each other, then Farrell and Ranjit are great friends. Farrell was an amazing groomsman at Ranjit’s wedding and Ranjit can’t wait to stand by Farrell's side on his wedding day.

Laura Spezzotti

Bridesmaid

Laura and the bride met their freshman year of college and, soon thereafter, on a double mother-daughter date, learned they actually had been friends in preschool! Jenny would not have made it through college without Laura - she was her support system, fashionista, foodie extraordinaire, movie night companion, and dance party partner. Jenny's wedding day would not be the same without Laura's love and encouragement and she is so excited to have her by her side!

Field Garthwaite

Groomsman

At the Commonwealth house (a watering hole with an occupancy of 15, that frequently held 70), Vanek introduced Farrell to the trio of Mock, Winston and Field. Field and Farrell share a love for art and cinema and became fast friends. Since then they've skied with Mormon Elton John in Utah, made a 16mm silent comedy short, and ventured to the many hidden gems LA has to offer. Field is here to party and share his joy that Farrell is now destined for greatness with Jenny at his side.

Erika Schulz

Bridesmaid

Erika and the bride met the week before law school and became pretty much inseparable. Jenny and Erika had every class together in law school and lived together - the fact that they never got sick of each other and are still great friends to this day is a testament to their sisterly-bond! Jenny would not have made it through law school without Erika's goofball antics and support so it is only fitting that she is there on Jenny's big day to help her down the aisle!

Peter Vanek

Groomsman

Pete and Farrell met in the 9th grade where they bonded riding the city bus home from school. Pete switched schools, but the two reconnected after college when Farrell was moving to LA. Pete knew his college friends would accept Farrell as one of their own. He was an immediate hit! A decade later--after many surprise visits, 4th of July parties and ski trips together--whenever Pete visits LA it’s impossible to imagine it being any other way! Pete is truly honored to stand by Farrell’s side as he marries the lovely Jenny.

Mary Anne Armstrong

Mother of the Bride

Mary Anne is the bride's mother. Jenny would not be where she is today with a beautiful life, friends and incredible partner without her Mom and Dad's support and love. Mary Anne is the most caring, self-less individual and is always there for whatever the bride or groom need. Jenny and Farrell can't wait for her to be a part of all of the adventures to come!

Tamara Moats

Mother of the Groom

Tamara lives in Seattle on Queen Anne Hill in the very same house Farrell grew up in. She is a renowned art historian and classical music aficionado. She teaches history at the Bush School upper school where she is beloved. She and Farrell have gone on many adventures together--to France, to the Grand Canyon, and all over the Pacific Northwest. Farrell wouldn't be where he is without her support and endless love!

Roger Johnson

Father of the Bride

Roger is the bride's father. Jenny would not be where she is today with a beautiful life, friends and incredible partner without her Dad and Mom's support and love. He always keeps Jenny on her toes, keeps her up to date on space events and all of the hip music. Jenny is so excited and happy to have her Dad walk her down the aisle on her big day!

Schuyler Ingle

Father of the Groom

Schuyler lives in Oakland with Farrell's step-mom Joyce Thompson. He is a fantastic chef and artisan woodworker. Farrell and Jenny always look forward to delicious meals when visiting and have several of his boxes and tables in their apartment. Farrell prides his own creative instincts and dry sense of humor from Schuyler and is forever grateful that his dad introduced him to Akira Kurosawa.
