In 2015 Jenny and Farrell flew up to Northern California to visit their parents for the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday weekend. On their flight back to LA--on Southwest Airlines where you pick your seat--Farrell saw Jenny on the jetway and decided to choose his seat next to hers. He struck up a conversation and then discovered free drink tickets in his seatpocket -- wooing Jenny as they cheers'd mini bottles of wine. Jenny and Farrell had an eerie amount in common. They loved to hike. They loved to cook. They made each other laugh. And they even happened to live a block and a half away from each other in Brentwood! As all the Angelenos know, location is key to dating in LA. Farrell was having a Super Bowl party, so he invited Jenny and her friends to join -- an excuse to get her phone number. Very suave. And the rest is history! Fast forward to this past January, Jenny and Farrell boarded the very same LA-bound flight they met on nearly five years to the day. Farrell sneakily passed a romantic note to a flight attendant to read over the loud speaker, got down in the aisle on bended knee and asked Jenny to marry him. She said yes, of course. The whole plane cheered! The flight crew pampered Jenny and Farrell with pretzel bag crowns, VIP access to the cockpit and a bottle of champagne. As if that wasn't enough, Farrell then lured Jenny to their favorite bar where all of their friends and Jenny's siblings were waiting to surprise them. The perfect way to kick off the rest of their lives together!
