Black-Tie Attire: For ladies, floor-length or "midi-length" formal gowns are acceptable. Men can choose to wear a black tux with either a black necktie or bowtie. If you prefer, a white dinner jacket with black tuxedo trousers is also perfectly acceptable.
Ceremony at 5:30 p.m. Please join us on the Front Lawn of Boone Hall Plantation for a wedding ceremony beginning at 5:30 p.m. To allow for travel time, take in the views as you enter Boone Hall's famous "Avenue of Oaks," and to find your seat, plan to arrive at 5 p.m. Cocktail Hour at 6 p.m. After the ceremony, guests will enjoy a cocktail hour at Boone Hall's Cotton Dock, overlooking the water at sunset. The Cotton Dock is a short walk from the ceremony. Transportation will be available if you prefer not to walk to The Cotton Dock. Reception from 7-11 p.m. Dinner and dancing at The Cotton Dock - let's dance the night away! We will have a LIVE band helping us party all night long. If you have any song requests, let us know!
