We met in October 2019 on the dating app Plenty of Fish. Brendan sent the first message—having no idea that it would change both of our lives forever. Our conversation flowed so naturally that we quickly moved from messaging on the app to texting each other daily. After a few scheduling hiccups, we finally (and nervously) met in person. The plan was dinner and a movie at Jenn’s place—but we ended up ignoring the movie completely and spent the night talking about everything from how our days went, to favorite films, to primordial pouches. We both knew right away: the connection we had made online was just as real and strong in person. Fast forward to November 2021—after Jenn came home from a long 12-hour shift, Brendan proposed in the comfort of our home, after a homemade dinner he had prepared. He picked out the coolest onyx engagement ring… and, of course, Jenn said yes! We’re so excited for what’s ahead and have been planning our dream wedding together. After a lot of thought, we decided on a small private ceremony on September 13, 2025, and we’re looking forward to celebrating with all of you!!
