Once upon a time, on September 8th, 2022 at 10:55am, a boy swiped right on a girl’s swimsuit photo. Our first date was at a rooftop bar in Seattle. It feels right that our wedding after party will also be on a rooftop. Apparently, we commit to themes early. Very quickly, we discovered suspicious similarities. Our dogs are named Theo and Teddy (both short for Theodore), born two weeks apart. And somehow, despite meeting on a dating app, we realized we lived just half a mile from each other. Coincidence? We’re not convinced. We also discovered key differences. Abhi loves sports, especially the Seahawks. Jenn agrees the Seahawks have the cutest uniforms. Jenn once took Abhi to the ballet. He fell asleep. Abhi took Jenn to a Seahawks game. She unexpectedly loved it. One month into dating, we went to Holbox, Mexico. The hotel caught on fire. We grabbed our passports, found a questionable room, and hitchhiked back to Cancun the next day. If you can survive that, you can survive anything we're guessing??? We've traveled to India, introduced our families across continents, and built something that feels equal parts unexpected and inevitable. We’re getting married in Las Vegas because we love it. Because it’s bold. Because it’s dramatic. Because sometimes you gamble and win it all. We feel incredibly lucky that one swipe led to this life and we can’t wait to celebrate with the people who helped us get here. And now, we’re all in. As Abhi would say LFG.
