This airport is the closest to San Francisco and would be less hassle to travel to and from due to local traffic conditions.

This hotel is out of San Francisco (about 20 minutes drive) but by San Francisco Airport. I personally stayed at this hotel and went to conventions there. There is not much around this hotel in terms of restaurants and things to do. You are going to need a car to get around.
