Oregon Coast Range

The coast is about an hour and a half to two hours from Portland. Cannon Beach, Astoria, and Manzanita are nice towns with beautiful beaches and good food.

Mount Hood

Beautiful hiking and lakes. About an hour and a half from Portland.

Mount Tabor

City park for walks, picnics, views. Great for a sunset picnic.

Wilder

Intimate local bar/eatery with some of the best burgers in town.

Portland Mercado

A variety of Latin American food carts with a beer/wine bar attached. Plenty of outdoor seating. This is our neighborhood spot - very close to our house.

Que Bacano Restaurant

Delicious Colombian food! Everything is good here, but we recommend the Ajiaco.

Rum Club

Intimate neighborhood bar serving delicious cocktails. Just a few blocks from the wedding venue.

Cafe Rowan

Upscale eatery serving brunch and dinner. If you are looking to treat yourself this is a wonderful spot.

Cubo

Relaxed Cuban restaurant with a big patio. Owned by our friends Milko and Emily.

My Vice Food & Spirits

Nice little brunch spot - usually not too long of a wait.

Nostrana

Upscale Italian restaurant, very delicious food. Reservations recommended.

Mother's Bistro & Bar

Classic brunch spot in Portland. Good for those staying downtown.

Oma's Hideaway

Indonesian food. If you're looking for unique and eclectic flavors, this is a wonderful spot. Good for adventurous eaters.

HOTLIPS Pizza - Hawthorne

There are various locations of Hot Lips in Portland. Local chain with good pizza, serving wine, beer, ice cream and other goodies. Dine in or takeout - kid friendly and uncomplicated. We like the Summerita and Winterita pizzas.

Hinterland Bar & Food Carts

Excellent food cart pod with lots of covered outdoor seating and a bar serving great drinks. Of note is Matt's BBQ Tacos, some of the best tacos we've ever had. Owned and operated by our friends Ryan and Rowan.

Taqueria Nueve

Delicious, slightly upscale Mexican food just blocks away from the wedding venue. They have a good happy hour with wonderful tacos and margaritas if you're looking for something more casual. One of our regular spots.

Roof Deck at Revolution Hall

Nice spot for an afternoon drink and snack on the rooftop. This place is a converted elementary school, so it's got a fun novelty aspect to it. The rooftop has kind of a party vibe a fun way to spend a few hours.

Kachka

Excellent Russian food! The dinner is more upscale but they have a good happy hour. We love the dumplings here - and the infused vodka!
