Flight
The Grand Rapids airport is a small (but growing!) airport. This is the closest airport to the wedding. Check out their website for available direct flights. If you prefer to fly into a larger airport, Grand Rapids is about a 3 hour drive from DTW (Detroit airport), and about a 3.5 hour drive from both MDW (Chicago - Miway) and ORD (Chicago - O'Hare).
Travel Note
If a downtown hotel is out of your budget, or you want to have a large group of people stay together, Air B and B is a good option! Our reception venue is downtown Grand Rapids, so any locations that are downtown or in the Heritage Hill neighborhood are a short Uber ride away (or walk if you're daring in the cold).

You can also reserve a room over the phone, by calling the hotel directly and requesting the "SPECIAL WEDDING RATE".

We have reserved a block of discounted rooms for our guests. To get the discounted rate, you can book online by clicking "View" below or calling (616) 451-2300 and mentioning the Connell/Velasco Wedding. King studio suites available (1 king bed with pull out sofa). Parking is not included in the price of the room; there is an additional charge per day to park. The hotel block is reserved for Friday February 21 and Saturday February 22. The block will close out January 14, so book early to take advantage of this group rate!
