Things To Do/Places To Eat

Recommended Restaurants

We aren’t foodies, but everyone’s gotta eat, so we may as well eat good food! Here are some of our recommendations: Ika-San (Ramen) Blue sushi or Hiro88 (sushi) El Basha (Lebanese/middle eastern) Meddy’s (Greek/mediterranean) Taqueria Tijuana (authentic Mexican) Hartland barbecue (Mexican barbecue) Korean grill (authentic Korean buffet style) Sickies Garage (burgers and shakes) Upstream (American-style dining) Star India (Indian food) Williamsburg Pizza (to DIE for Pizza) Lighthouse Pizza and Zio's Pizzeria are also good for pizza

Lauritzen Gardens

100 Bancroft Street, Omaha, NE 68108

Jenni used to work here- it’s her favorite place in Omaha. Knowing this, Daniel proposed here- he’s the best! ADA/wheelchair accessible and kid friendly (new play garden is PHENOMENAL.)

Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium

3701 South 10th Street, Omaha, NE 68107

This is one of the best zoos in the nation- if you’re here, it’s worth seeing!! It's a big zoo, so wear walking shoes and bring water!

Gene Leahy Mall at The RiverFront

1001 Douglas Street, Omaha, NE 68102

This is an urban park that we both frequented in Undergrad. Highly reccommend! It is wheelchair accessible and fun with little ones too.
