Great place to bar hop. Our favorite street in Austin. Some of our favorite spots include Lustre Pearl, Container Bar, Lucille's, Banger's, Parlor Room, and Clive Bar.
Zilker Park
Great park to see the Austin skyline and hang out with the locals. Tons of restaurants and beautiful greenery to be seen here. This is where Austin City Limits Music Festival is held.
Banger's Sausage House & Beer Garden
GREAT spot for brunch. Get the Manmosas(Entire bottle of champagne) :) P.s. If you are up for a permanent reminder of your trip... ask them how to get a free tattoo ;)

For those seeking a good night life and upscale bar hopping area outside of Rainey street, West 6th is a good spot! Starts west of Guadalupe St.. Do not, I REPEAT do not go to Dirty 6th (6th street between congress ave and Trinity st) !
East 6th Street
Tons of bars. We like this area because it is more lowkey and hipster. Go here if you want a more quiet evening.
