Getting from the airport to our wedding venue area

Travel Itinerary Option #1 (Rental Car): 1. Fly into SeaTac Airport 2. Rental Car to Bainbridge Ferry Terminal (see Travel Note below) 3. Bainbridge Ferry to Downtown Bainbridge 4. Drive to Kiana Lodge/Hotel Travel Itinerary Options #2 (No Rental Car): 1. Fly into SeaTac Airport 2. Walk to Lightrail Station at SeaTac 3. Take Line 1 north (towards Lynnwood City Center) 4. Get off at Pioneer Square 5. Walk 9 mins to Bainbridge Ferry Terminal in downtown Seattle 6. Taxi or Shuttle from Ferry Terminal on Bainbridge Island to Kiana Lodge/Hotel Travel Itinerary #3 (No Ferry): 1. Fly into SeaTac Airport 2. Rental Car or Taxi to Kiana Lodge/Hotel via southern route through Tacoma, taking the famous Takoma Narrows Bridge.

Accommodations

Despite it's name, Kiana Lodge (our wedding venue), is not a hotel. We will have a small block of rooms available at the two nearby hotels listed below. The room blocks are first come first serve. Both of these are just a 10 minute drive from our venue. There are also dozens of airbnbs/vrbos/cabins/cottages in the area that we recommend checking out!

Day-of Shuttle Service

On our wedding day, we'll have a shuttle organized to go to/from our venue and both of our hotels with room blocks (Suquamish Clearwater Casino Resort and Fairfield Inn & Suites, Poulsbo). If you decide to book a different hotel or an Airbnb/vrbo, just please note that the shuttles won't stop there.

Tips for taking a car on the Bainbridge Ferry

Bainbridge Ferry Drive-on Instructions: 1. You pull up to the toll booth and pay PER vehicle. 2. Follow the attendants instructions to pull into the waiting lane. 3. Ferry arrives. Follow the traffic flow of the workers for the ferry. 4. We recommend getting out of the car once all the cars around you have stopped. (You don't have to get out of the car. There are a few flights of stairs to get upstairs.) 5. Hang out on deck and enjoy one of the best views of the Seattle skyline! They'll make an announcement when you should return to your vehicle.
