Things To Do

There is so much to do in Seattle! We included a few common tourist destinations that we highly recommend.
Cascades Mountain Range

Cascades Mountain Range

If you have a car, we recommend trying to get to the Cascade mountains for a hike! Washington State has a great website where you can search for different hikes (like AllTrails)

Pike Place Market

Pike Place Market

85 Pike Street, Seattle, WA 98101

Pike Place Market is Seattle's original farmers market and the center of locally sourced, artisan and specialty foods. A must visit!

Seattle Center

Seattle Center

305 Harrison Street, Seattle, WA 98109

The Seattle Center's landmark feature is the Space Needle! Other notable attractions include the Pacific Science Center, Climate Pledge Arena, and the Museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP), as well as McCaw Hall, which hosts both the Seattle Opera and Pacific Northwest Ballet.

Discovery Park

Discovery Park

Seattle, WA 98199

As the city's largest public park, it contains 11.81 miles of walking trails.

Kerry Park

Kerry Park

211 West Highland Drive, Seattle, WA 98119

A tiny park with skyline views of Seattle and Mt. Rainier (if you are lucky!)

Gas Works Park

Gas Works Park

2101 North Northlake Way, Seattle, WA 98103

It has a 19.1-acre public park on the site of the former Seattle Gas Light Company gasification plant, located on the north shore of Lake Union at the south end of the Wallingford neighborhood. Beautiful views of Seattle across Lake Union!

Ballard Locks Fish Ladder

Ballard Locks Fish Ladder

2930 West Commodore Way, Seattle, WA 98199

The complex of locks sits in the middle of Salmon Bay and are part of Seattle's Lake Washington Ship Canal. It's fun to watch the boats rise and fall as they go from the lake to the sound. There is also a fish ladder for migrating salmon!

Bainbridge Island

Bainbridge Island

Downtown Bainbridge, WA

Cute coastal town with plenty of shops, restaurants, and busy marina. We would recommend getting lunch downtown after your ferry ride!

Ballard Brewery District

Ballard Brewery District

Ballard is a cool neighborhood with over a dozen breweries within a one-mile radius.

Chihuly Garden and Glass

Chihuly Garden and Glass
