We're Getting married

Jenn had just moved to Springfield, MO and didn't know anyone, so she downloaded the meetup app to find like minded people in the area to befriend. On April 1st 2017 there was a brunch at 'the best brunch spot in Springfield' with a group from the app. Her and Markus were both in attendance, but sat at opposite ends of the table. At the very end of one of the worst brunches they had ever had, a few people were discussing going to a karaoke bar that night and who can pass up karaoke? Jenn and Markus talked a little bit at the bar, but what caught Jenn's attention was Markus going up and singing "Heroes" by David Bowie. Jenn being a HUGE David Bowie fan, she immediately started up a conversation with him. Although they didn't exchange contact information that night, they would meet again, a week later, at a Golden Girls trivia night. That was the night that they made plans to go out for pizza and beer for the first time...

A new cocktail bar opened up in the north end in Boston. Markus and Jenn being frequenters of small and unique restaurants and bars around the city were intrigued by the location and the size of the venue. It was a small speakeasy, mandating reservations for their 9 seated establishment. Markus made reservations in April for the end of July, Friday July 29th to be exact. After ordering a round of cocktails, Markus nervously put a box in front of Jenn and she said 'yes!'
