Delicious Northern Thai restaurant. One of our favorite restaurants in town!
Evan participated in Bend's Mini Mural Festival in August of this year! It is so exciting that he is getting his art out there, and would be wonderful to have his friends and family check it out! You can drive by and see his mural, or if you stop by Wild Rose, it's within a short walk to see his piece! It's on the corner of NW Oregon Avenue and NW Tin Pan Alley (address listed not exact). Hopefully you can find it and Enjoy!
Great food and beer flights!
If you want to something fun to do the day of the reception, the west side farmer's market is open from 9am-2pm and is very near our house! It has several local vendors and food trucks that are worth checking out! If you don't mind waiting in line, Sparrow Bakery is a great place to stop by as well and get an Ocean Roll - a Bend specialty!
For those that don't do beer (like the bride) maybe cider is more up your alley!
This place is pretty new and a fun place to gather for cocktails (Waypoint), coffee (Thump), ice cream (Elly's), or amazing italian food in the form of a food truck (Sunny's Carrello). The Grove offers both indoor and outdoor seating and is a great place to stop by!
Delicious wine at a cute tasting room in the Old Mill with views of the river and mountains. When first visiting Bend, Evan and Jenn ended up here after a day full of fun activities and made the decision to become Oregonians.
Ever wanted to climb 5,000 vertical feet over five miles up an active volcano? The trail-head starts at Devils Lake, and is a straight shot if you follow the marked climber's trail. You will end up at 10,358 feet with the most spectacular view that exists of the neighboring mountains in the area. This is an all-day activity, expect it to take 8+ hours, but if you're looking for an adventure and have the time you can't beat the scenery on this hike.
If you're looking for something a little less breath-taking, this is a beautiful place for a short hike or walk. There are numerous trails throughout the park that allow you to go as little or as far as you want.
A Central Oregon rock climbing mecca, Smith Rock is a 30 minute drive from Bend, and features beautiful towering rock formations with a river flowing through the base of them. A great spot for a picnic and walk/hike.
