Are Kids Welcome?

Answer

While we would love to extend the invite to include children, our venue would reach capacity very quickly with everyone's kids. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only and we will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation as we were given a very strict guest count to stay within. We hope you are able to come and enjoy a night or a weekend kid-free!

What should I wear?

Answer

Our wedding is Summer Cocktail Attire! Ladies' ideas are a summer cocktail or maxi dress, or a dressy jumpsuit. Wedges, block heels, dressy sandals and flats are good shoe options as there is grass and uneven ground surrounding the paver patio. Guys, come in a pair of slacks and a button down shirt. Feel free to throw on a blazer if you're feeling extra festive! As a side note, if you are attending the Friday evening Welcome Party, that event is casual so come in whatever you're comfortable in... fresh & clean clothes, please! ;)

What's the weather going to be like?

Answer

We really don't know! While we're hoping for sunny 70's, we know that Two Harbors is a town nestled on the shoreline of Lake Superior, and the lake wind can be chilly as Lake Superior water hovers around 50 degrees in the summertime. Sources say the average high temperature in the air in the area on June 25th historically is 70 degrees, but the average low is 48, so bring a sweater or jacket in case, and cross your fingers and toes for good weather!

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be busy finishing up photos. Guests can head inside just off the patio for a cocktail hour where we will be serving finger foods and beverages. Cornhole games are encouraged and will be available outside behind the patio. After cocktail hour, we'll be in for a buffet dinner & to continue the party!

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

May 21st! We have a strict guest count and must give our final head count to our venue, so please head on over to our RSVP tab on this website to let us know whether you can or cannot make it - there is no wrong answer (although we'll miss you if you cannot make it)!

Are you registered anywhere?

Answer

Yes! While we have set up a registry on Amazon, we also have ongoing major home renovation projects and are doing an Alaskan Honeymoon (which is actually a big deal to both of us, as visiting the great state of Alaska has been on both of our bucket list for years and we are FINALLYYYY going!).
