Despite multiple failed attempts by their friends to set Andrew and Jennah up on a blind date, fate would have them meeting each other on their own at a mutual client's event. Andrew, keeping in line with the "professional" tone of the evening, asked for Jennah's business card rather than her personal digits. That resulted in a very awkward voicemail the following day but nonetheless a first date was eventually set. Andrew had the feeling she was "the One" when Jennah only agreed to go on that first date if they finished dinner in time to watch the kick off of the LSU vs Alabama football game. Jennah knew Andrew was "the One" when he not only obliged to her request on that first date but also showed up in purple and gold socks. The rest was history...
Wanting to surprise Jennah, which is not an easy thing to do, Andrew decided to pop the question on a random Thursday night. He wanted to recreate their first date, which started with dinner at Pax Americana. After dinner, Andrew had arranged dessert to be brought out with "Will you marry me?" etched out in a chocolate drizzle. Jennah's initial response was "on a Thursday??" but quickly was followed by a "YES!" They then continued on to the same bar they watched that LSU vs Alabama game at on their first date where Andrew further surprised her with their family and friends. The night was filled with tears, laughs, and champagne, and Andrew and Jennah look forward to continuing the celebration in Sun Valley in October. The rest of their story to be continued...
