We met at the gym on Sterling's first day on the job! He was shadowing a bootcamp class that I attended and we ended up chatting for awhile after the workout. He asked for my phone number before I left that day and I texted him as soon as I got to my car. We ended up going on our first date a week later! The funny thing is we had both been clients at the gym for years and saw each other in passing many times. We never said a word to each other before that day. Timing is a crazy thing!

We got engaged in Mexico while on a trip to celebrate my graduation from nursing school. While we were there, It was also our 22 month anniversary so we went out for a nice dinner at the resort to celebrate that evening. After dinner we went to a quiet area on the resort surrounded by hammocks and string lights. I started filming a video on my phone to capture clips of us our trip, while we are posing for the camera he kneels down and pulls out the ring! I was totally surprised!! So we ended up getting engaged on the 22nd of the month and on our 22 month anniversary...hence why we chose the 22nd for our wedding date! We can't wait to share this special day with you all!
