We are requiring that all attendees take a COVID PCR test a few days before the wedding to ensure a negative result is returned by Friday April 9th. A list of suggested testing providers is in the FAQ below. We will also be providing rapid COVID testing the day of the wedding for all attendees. Venue arrival and testing times will be communicated shortly.
We suggest making an appointment and testing through a UW Lab testing site. We have found that they have the fastest turnaround as they process the tests locally. Please register and make an appointment a few days ahead of time! In King County (UW Lab): https://www.seattle.gov/mayor/covid-19/free-covid-19-testing/covid-19-testing-no-symptoms In Snohomish County (UW Lab): https://www.snohd.org/503/Drive-Thru-Testing-Available-by-Appointm Oral swab PCR testing options (mailed testing - takes extra time): https://curative.com/search#10/47.6374/-122.2964 If these options do not work for you, please consult the WA DOH website for additional testing locations. https://www.doh.wa.gov/Emergencies/COVID19/TestingforCOVID19/TestingLocations **NOTE** Some testing sites/options will mail your test across the country to be tested in a lab elsewhere. This will add a day or two to your testing timeline.
Yes. As of this time, we are requiring both tests for all attendees, regardless of vaccination. This FAQ will be updated if additional guidance from the CDC dictates.
We are sorry, but for the health and safety of everyone attending, we are requiring everyone to provide a negative PCR test result before attending the wedding.
Please send Jenna or Ryan a copy of your negative PCR test by Friday April 9th. You can email or text us a screenshot of the happy news!
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we want to share our expectations with you all for our special day. Please read this carefully and entirely. We're taking this very seriously and want to do everything we can to make everyone as comfortable as we possibly can under these circumstances. We realize that even with all of our efforts there is still risk involved. That being said, we completely understand if you are not comfortable attending. You will be with us in spirit and we'll love you just the same! What to expect from us and the venue: * Lots of space to social distance. The Sanctuary @ Lotte holds over 800 guests. We are expecting roughly around 5% of capacity. * A minimum of 8 HEPA filters in the ceremony and reception space. * Disinfecting UV light treatments over seating areas and various high touch items. * Staff and vendors to undergo screening and wear masks. * Rapid COVID-19 testing and temperature screening provided upon arrival for all guests. * Hand sanitizer and masks readily available. * Color coded wristbands to non-verbally indicate your comfort level with social interaction. * We will be working on seating arrangements as we receive RSVPs and will do everything possible to seat everyone according to their comfort levels.

We have an agreement with the Lotte Hotels valet. Simply show up a few minutes early to allow time for an available valet attendant. The cost is covered, we simply ask that you tip the valet attendant accordingly!
Did you really have to ask? Do you know us?
This is a black tie affair. We're so excited to see you all scrubbed up in your finest. We feel that everyone deserves an elegant night out after all we have been through with covid-19. Recommended for Gents- a suit or tux! If you would like information on a discount tuxedo rental through The Black Tux, please contact Ryan. Recommended for Ladies - That beautiful dress you've always wanted an excuse to wear.
We politely ask that guests refrain from taking photos during the ceremony for a few reasons. For one, we want you to be able to sit back, relax and be in the moment. Secondly, personal cameras and phones can often get in the way, and or flash at the wrong time for our photographer. We completely trust Samuel, our photographer to capture our ceremony entirely. That being said we encourage you to take photos to your hearts content at the reception, then, add them to our wedding hashtag, #teambutthead! Our professional photos will be shared for everyone to enjoy as well.
