Question

Will you have a shuttle from the hotels?

Answer

Yes! We want to ensure our friends and family can enjoy the evening while keeping their safety in mind. We will have a shuttle from the hotels leaving the Fox Tower at Foxwoods Resort & Casino at 4:40 PM and from the Hilton Garden Inn at 4:50 PM. The shuttle will return to both hotels after the reception, leaving the Barn at Maple Lane Farms at 10:00 PM. If you choose to drive to the reception and are staying at the hotels in our blocks, you can keep your car at the reception and return to it the next day. Please be safe and have fun!

Where do I park?

Answer

For the ceremony, there is ample parking behind the church. For the reception, there will be ample parking at the venue as well a shuttles to the hotels in our room block. A shuttle will run to the reception leaving the Foxwoods Resort & Casino at 4:40 PM and the Hilton Garden Inn at 4:50 PM and will return to both locations after the reception at 10:00 PM.

Our registry is included on our Wedding website and we will continue to add things on it over the next few months!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin very promptly at 2:00 PM. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to ensure you are seated before the ceremony begins.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see our friends and family get dressed up for our big day! Dress to impress in your best formal attire! For women, a Midi, Ankle or Floor-length dresses are appropriate. (If there's a dress/gown you love that you've been dying to break out of the closet... DO IT!) For men, suits are a great option (tuxes are not needed :) ) Please no jeans or denim and we ask that you avoid shades of white. And to avoid anything too revealing for the ceremony in the cathedral. When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

Please respond by September 12th by returning your RSVP card in the mail using the envelope enclosed with your invitation. Invitations will be sent out by July 30th. If you have not received your invite, please let Ron and Jenna know by emailing them at thepickerings2024@gmail.com

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

We understand food allergies are incredibly important, please send us an email at thepickerings2024@gmail.com to ensure that we can work with our incredible caterer to accommodate you ahead of our date.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

To allow all our guests to celebrate without having to worry about little eyes and ears, we politely request no children.
