Something to be extra thankful for ...

Thanksgiving Weekend 2022

We want to spend it with you by getting married! It's going to be a holiday weekend to remember. Find all of the details about our special day here. Let's partyyyyyy! We really want to encourage everyone who can to stay at the hotel the night of the wedding. On our travel section you will find details about a room block we have reserved at The Hilton Denver Inverness that comes with a complimentary shuttle to and from the venue. Avoid the 20+ minute drive or expensive Uber, we'd love for you to join us and celebrate all night long! Please RSVP by October 1st by clicking on the "RSVP" button in the menu above.

How We Met

started on bumble, now we're here

If you ask Luke, we met at Starbucks (which is true), but the actual truth is that two swipes right on Bumble lead us here today. After continuous flirting over texts, dinners, drinks, and everything in between from 2017 to 2020 - due to Jenna's stubbornness and thankfully Luke's patience - we had our third first date July 2020 and have been inseparable ever since. Now, we couldn't be happier.

The Proposal

Kauai, Hawaii

Luke's version: Nothing went to plan. I was freaking out. But it ended up perfect and she said YES! Jenna's version: I had a *feeling* it was going to happen on this trip; I just didn’t know when or how! Our first day in Kauai we spent relaxing and exploring Hanalei. That day, Luke was insisting on going to his favorite beach before dinner to watch the sunset. Admittedly, I questioned this for a bit because it was 40 mins away from dinner and seemed silly, but I went with it. When we were about to leave, Luke anxiously said the plans had changed, and we were going to a closer beach with a better view! It took us a bit to find it, and plans had to change once more after a local gal on her bike told us that the path down to the beach was pretty steep. This kind stranger suggested we go to an overlook that was just around the corner instead. Once we got to the look out point, it was simply gorgeous, and the sunset was perfect. We took some pictures and watched the sun go down. The next thing I knew, Luke grabbed my hand and said "I need to read you something.” At which point, he started to read his proposal letter from his phone and I blacked out completely because I was so happy and excited! Once he pulled out the ring, I came to. He asked me "Will you marry me?" three times, and I said "YES!" three times following. It was the perfect proposal and a place and setting I will never forget. As we were about to leave (almost like it was planned) a local guitarist came up to us and asked if he could play us a song to celebrate. He sang an acoustic version of the Hawaiian wedding song. It was truly magical.

For all the days along the way
