Bunbury is an annual 3-day music festival on the Riverbanks of Cincinnati! There will be concerts from lots of different artists and multiple stages from May 31-June 2. June 1st is already booked for you, but check out the website for what's happening the day before and after.
Aster is just a new downtown bar that has become a quick favorite for John and Jenna. Just a block away from The Renaissance and on the 3rd floor, it has an awesome vibe, an open balcony (with good weather) and fun drinks. We highly recommend stopping here between the Ceremony and Reception or to close out your night!
Abigail Street is one of our favorite restaurants in Cincinnati and happened to be our second date! Check it out if you have extra time, as well as the rest of Vine Street (with new shopping and resto's) in Over-The-Rhine.
The Red-Legs are in town! The Cincinnati Reds play at home on 5/31 and 6/2 against the Washington Nationals.
If you're looking for a place for a stroll and some peace downtown, Washington Park is the spot for you. You'll able to see the recently renovated Music Hall and Memorial Hall which boarder the park as well as some other fantastic restaurants (Zola, The Anchor).
Carew Tower is Cincinnati's second tallest building and has an observation deck with a great view of Cincy and Kentucky. $6 cash for adults 12 and up. Closes Friday @ 6pm, Sat & Sun @ 7pm. (This is also where Nick proposed to Mary! :) )
Enjoy a short walk from the Renaissance to the Riverfront with beautiful gardens, walking paths, and swings over-looking the Ohio River. Smale also has fun activities such as Carol Ann's Carousel and a Great Ferris Wheel. (This is a favorite running route for Jenna!)
If you haven't heard of the infamous Skyline Chili, you're in for a treat. Although Sue & Stu still have not come around to it, Skyline is a Cincinnati classic and a guilty-pleasure fave of Jenna & John.
