Blake and I met while we were both freshmen at James Madison University. We talked during our walks to class and JMU tailgates where Blake patiently taught Jenna every rule of football. Early on we connected over our shared love for games, coffee, live music & sports (or more like Jenna embracing Blake's love for sports). After a year of sharing meals at the dining halls, a first official date at Jimmy Madisons in downtown Harrisonburg, & 7 years of dating, Blake popped the question after a snowy walk by the water in Old Town Alexandria.
