Lots of fun shops including saltwater taffy, books, gift shops, etc.
Lots of fun hikes, pretty views, frisbee golf, and museums/historic buildings to check out here! The South Jetty, Wreck of the Peter Iredale, and Fort Ruins are all worth a stop. $10 day use pass or annual state park pass required
If you're staying at Gearhart by the Sea, you can just walk down to the beach from the condos, or you can drive to a parking lot near the wedding venue to access Sunset Beach. Great spot to watch the sunset, look for sea glass or cool shells, and see amazing views of the Pacific
Check out Fort Clatsop at the Lewis and Clark National Historical Park to learn more about the history of the area and do some family friendly hikes! Day parking pass is $10, a national park pass will get you in for free.
Great walk along the Columbia River with coffee shops, ice cream, and food options!
Beautiful views of Astoria, the Megler Bridge, and the Columbia River. $5 parking pass required, option to buy small wooden planes to throw off the top of the column for $1 in the gift shop
Great museum with excellent exhibits on the Coast Guard, the Graveyard of the Pacific, and fishing! Also includes the chance to go out on an old Coast Guard lightship which is pretty cool! $18 for adults, $15 for seniors and college students, and $8 for kids 6-17 (kids 5 & under are free).
Ride the Astoria Trolley for only $1 to get a ~1 hour scenic tour from the river of the history of Astoria, complete with lots of jokes! There are lots of stops to get on, but the easiest is at the Columbia River Maritime Museum since you can park.
Like Seaside, Astoria has lots of great little shops downtown with food, books, and local gifts! Would be good to pair this with the Column and Riverwalk
This drive-thru is our absolutely favorite coffee in Astoria! In addition to coffee drinks, tea, and energy drinks, they also have some pastries and bagel sandwiches if you're looking for a quick food option. Note: there is a walk up window, but you technically can't park in the lot without a pass, so make sure someone stays in the car so you don't get a ticket if you choose to walk up.
Amazing pastries with incredible views of the Columbia River, Megler Bridge, and Washington! Coffee is fine, but the pastries, atmosphere, and views make this spot what it is!
Best bagels outside of NYC that Jenna has ever had! Definitely worth the stop, but make sure to go early as they can run out of bagels, especially on the weekend
Amazing gyros! A bit of a drive from Warrenton, but it's right next to Coffee Girl, the Astoria Riverwalk, and the Columbia River Maritime Museum if you make a day of it
Italian deli with amazing sandwiches and meals! Located in downtown Astoria so it's a good spot if you want to do some shopping
Great seafood in Seaside!
Well known in Astoria and throughout Oregon for their craft beers, this is also one of the best pizza places in town with great views from the second floor! The upstairs and downstairs have different menus though so just make sure you look at both.
Great Mexican food and drinks!
Amazing cocktails and mocktails, including non-whiskey drinks!
