The Wedding Website of Raul Patel and Jenna Travers
Have extra time in the area? Here are some of our favorite places on the North Coast!
Activities

Activities

Shopping in Seaside

415 1st Avenue, Seaside, OR 97138

Lots of fun shops including saltwater taffy, books, gift shops, etc.

Fort Stevens State Park

1675 Peter Iredale Road, Hammond, OR 97121

Lots of fun hikes, pretty views, frisbee golf, and museums/historic buildings to check out here! The South Jetty, Wreck of the Peter Iredale, and Fort Ruins are all worth a stop. $10 day use pass or annual state park pass required

Sunset Beach

Sunset Beach Road, Warrenton, 97146

If you're staying at Gearhart by the Sea, you can just walk down to the beach from the condos, or you can drive to a parking lot near the wedding venue to access Sunset Beach. Great spot to watch the sunset, look for sea glass or cool shells, and see amazing views of the Pacific

Fort Clatsop Visitor Center

92345 Fort Clatsop Road, Astoria, OR 97103

Check out Fort Clatsop at the Lewis and Clark National Historical Park to learn more about the history of the area and do some family friendly hikes! Day parking pass is $10, a national park pass will get you in for free.

Astoria Riverwalk

175 14th Street, Astoria, OR 97103

Great walk along the Columbia River with coffee shops, ice cream, and food options!

Astoria Column

1 Coxcomb Drive, Astoria, OR 97103

Beautiful views of Astoria, the Megler Bridge, and the Columbia River. $5 parking pass required, option to buy small wooden planes to throw off the top of the column for $1 in the gift shop

Columbia River Maritime Museum

1792 Marine Drive, Astoria, OR 97103

Great museum with excellent exhibits on the Coast Guard, the Graveyard of the Pacific, and fishing! Also includes the chance to go out on an old Coast Guard lightship which is pretty cool! $18 for adults, $15 for seniors and college students, and $8 for kids 6-17 (kids 5 & under are free).

Astoria Riverfront Trolley

1792 Marine Drive, Astoria, OR 97103

Ride the Astoria Trolley for only $1 to get a ~1 hour scenic tour from the river of the history of Astoria, complete with lots of jokes! There are lots of stops to get on, but the easiest is at the Columbia River Maritime Museum since you can park.

Shopping in Astoria

1216 Duane Street, Astoria, OR 97103

Like Seaside, Astoria has lots of great little shops downtown with food, books, and local gifts! Would be good to pair this with the Column and Riverwalk

Coffee and Sweet Treats

Journey's End Espresso

55 Basin Street, Astoria, OR 97103

This drive-thru is our absolutely favorite coffee in Astoria! In addition to coffee drinks, tea, and energy drinks, they also have some pastries and bagel sandwiches if you're looking for a quick food option. Note: there is a walk up window, but you technically can't park in the lot without a pass, so make sure someone stays in the car so you don't get a ticket if you choose to walk up.

Coffee Girl

100 39th Street, Astoria, OR 97103

Amazing pastries with incredible views of the Columbia River, Megler Bridge, and Washington! Coffee is fine, but the pastries, atmosphere, and views make this spot what it is!

Bagels by the Sea

210 South Holladay Drive, Seaside, OR 97138

Best bagels outside of NYC that Jenna has ever had! Definitely worth the stop, but make sure to go early as they can run out of bagels, especially on the weekend

Food and Drinks

Food and Drinks

Athena Mediterranean Kitchen

100 39th Street, Astoria, OR 97103

Amazing gyros! A bit of a drive from Warrenton, but it's right next to Coffee Girl, the Astoria Riverwalk, and the Columbia River Maritime Museum if you make a day of it

Gaetano's Market & Deli

1004 Commercial Street, Astoria, OR 97103

Italian deli with amazing sandwiches and meals! Located in downtown Astoria so it's a good spot if you want to do some shopping

Grizzly Tuna

850 North Roosevelt Drive, Seaside, OR 97138

Great seafood in Seaside!

Fort George Brewery

1483 Duane Street, Astoria, OR 97103

Well known in Astoria and throughout Oregon for their craft beers, this is also one of the best pizza places in town with great views from the second floor! The upstairs and downstairs have different menus though so just make sure you look at both.

La CabaƱa de Raya

35431 Highway 101 Business, Astoria, OR 97103

Great Mexican food and drinks!

Blaylock's Whiskey Bar

433 13th Street, Astoria, OR 97103

Amazing cocktails and mocktails, including non-whiskey drinks!
