We met at our university orientation before the start of freshman year and formed a small group of friends. Our group decided to meet up in Portland a few times before classes started. The first time we got brunch together with our friends, we were both having trouble deciding between breakfast and lunch, so we each ordered one and decided to share, starting an endless tradition that continues five and a half years later. The next week, Jenna tried to get a group together to go to a concert in Portland since her sister (now MOH) wanted to carpool, and Raul ended up being the only one who could make it (though Kristen later bailed on the carpool idea and left Jenna to drive home alone through a torrential downpour). We would soon find out that we were living directly across the hall from one another, and our early weeks of school quickly turned into having breakfast before our early classes, competing to answer questions first while watching Jeopardy reruns, and walking to get waffles every Friday morning (and of course sharing when we couldn't decide what to get). Life pushed us toward each other and we happily obliged. From fall of 2019, we have shared our meals, lives, dreams, laughs, and memories together and we cannot wait for a whole lifetime of sharing. Come help us celebrate our love!
