There's a Norwegian saying, “Det finnes ikke dårlig vær, bare dårlige klær!” which translates to “There is no bad weather, only bad clothes!" Ideally you want to build up an outfit that will be warm enough for a seriously chilly day, but one that you can also strip down to something appropriate for a sunny, warm day. In other words - be prepared for anything. It can be quite warm, or get very chilly. Bring layers - t-shirts, long-sleeve shirts/wool or thermals if you plan on skiing or glacier-ing. Warm sweaters, a light fleece, a light waterproof jacket. Leggings and sports clothing will be smart to pack, and comfortable sneakers and hiking boots if you have them. Bring a hat, gloves, a reusable water bottle and a backpack. And pack a swimsuit and sandals! Hopefully, you will have enough room for your dresses and suits afterward :)
No. Norway is not a cash-based society in the least. Debit and credit cards are accepted everywhere. Visa and Mastercard are the most accepted cards.
No - no tests needed for entry to Norway or the States. International travel is back :)
We love your adorable kids, however we ask our Norwegian friends to please try to find babysitters. The exception will be those traveling from the States. However if you are really in a bind, let us know.

The toast master is Simen Landa. He will be happy to answer your questions during the wedding. If you don't know him, look for the Norwegian guy with long hair and big beard.
