Kings County Distillery
Kings County Distillery is New York City’s oldest, largest, and premier whiskey distillery, the first since prohibition. We went on a tour here a couple years ago and still talk about the delicious tasting.
Colson Patisserie
The best pastries in town happen to be right by our apartment. Go on a jog or bike ride around Prospect Park and then end with a brioche!
Brooklyn Bridge Park
We know this is cliché, but it’s a must see with spectacular views of Manhattan. A great walk or bike ride for a sunny Fall day.
Prospect Park
Jen and friends run the 3.5 mile loop of the park all the time. Saturdays feature a fabulous farmers market and Sundays house Smorgasburg.
Brooklyn Museum
At 560,000 square feet, the museum is New York City's third largest in physical size and holds an art collection with roughly 1.5 million works.
Industry City
We're not sure how to describe a place that literally has six buildings filled with everything from a flea market, artist studios, food hall, Japanese Village, Vodka distillery, sunset yoga classes and tons of boutique shopping. You'll just have to check it out yourself.
